Hello Family and Friends,
Well day 5 is in the books and we are making steady progress, my girl is now officially a med surg patient. To all of you not familiar with this, it means she is no longer an Intensive care patient, YeeHa!!!! Today Rebecca had her cordis line (an IV line in the neck) removed and a three lumen line placed. Also she was able to get a nice bath and a hair washing from her nurse early this morning. She is a miracle to behold and I am just on cloud nine with her recovery from this trail. I know we will always be on the look out for signs of rejection, but today; right now,my girl is doing great and is on room air with a 97% O2 saturation.Beck has also been out and walking the unit with the help of her PT and the cardiac/Thoracic stroller. She walked about 350 feet today around the unit!!!! On Room Air no less!!! She continues to amaze everyone here in the unit, to include the Doctors. Wow is my closing for tonight. I go to sleep knowing that Rebecca is another closer to coming home. Thank You all for your positive vibes.!!! :o)
Your Grateful Friends, Ron and Rebecca.
